Student Support Team 

A unique feature of education at Catherine McAuley is the team approach to meeting the special needs of students. The Student Support Team comprises a school counsellor, learning support teachers and teacher assistants, careers adviser, ESL and Literacy support teacher and itinerant teachers for students with hearing and vision difficulties. 

The team is lead by the Student Support Coordinator, who liaises with teachers, coordinators, parents and outside agencies to provide support for students with disabilities and additional learning needs. Parents and students are part of the planning  and review process which monitor student progress and welfare.
